We are currently in the process of obtaining the OPS–MAL license in the Philippines. Our operations and platform are being developed in alignment with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.

Regulatory

Compliance Framework

Vamos Pago is building its operations and internal controls in alignment with the regulatory requirements issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for Operators of Payment Systems (OPS) and payment service providers.

The company is in the process of obtaining the relevant regulatory license, and its policies, systems, and procedures are being developed to meet all applicable laws, rules, and guidelines governing payment services in the Philippines.

Vamos Pago is committed to achieving and maintaining full regulatory compliance upon receipt of the required approvals.

Anti-Money Laundering

Full compliance with AMLA including customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and suspicious transaction reporting to AMLC.

Data Privacy

Compliance with Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and registered with the National Privacy Commission.

Consumer Protection

Adherence to BSP consumer protection standards and Financial Products Consumer Protection Act.

Information Security

Implementation of security measures per BSP Circular No. 982 on Information Security Management.

Merchant Onboarding Requirements

All merchant applicants are subject to the following requirements:

01 Valid SEC Certificate or DTI Business Registration
02 Business permits and licenses
03 Proof of business address
04 ID documents of authorized signatories
05 Bank account under business name
06 Completed due diligence questionnaire

Merchants in prohibited or high-risk industries will not be accepted.

All complaints acknowledged within 2 business days. Simple complaints: 7 days. Complex complaints: 30 days.

4. Escalation

Complaints may be escalated to our Compliance Officer or filed with BSP through BSP Online Buddy (BOB).
